Sourced from the very first planting of Chardonnay in the Adelaide Hills, this is a special single vineyard wine. Full, ripe, white peach aromas are typical in Tiers. There are hints of almond and cinnamon that complement the stone fruit flavours before a wonderful, long, nutty, viscous finish, balanced by mineral acidity.
A long standing favourite variety in Bordeaux, Malbec does particularly well in Coonawarra. This Petaluma Project Company Malbec is a ripe fruit, finely structured spicy dry red with smooth, abundant and rich tannins.
The 2019 Shiraz is a medium bodied, bright and vibrant wine with red berry fruit aromas with a hint of milk chocolate.
This 2014 PPC Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Evan's and Sharefarmers Vineyards, which are situated at the northern end of Coonawarra.
This Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant and full flavoured, rich dry red that shows the spicy, juicy bright fruits for which the region is renowned. Aromas of liquorice cassis and cedar are complemented by black fruits and a lovely hint of mint and Cabernet leaf. The palate is bright and juicy, with lovely supple tannins.
The 2018 vintage is only the third release of this style from Petaluma, following on from the 2012. The resulting wine is luscious, but crisp, with lovely lemon-lime intensity and a hint of sherbet. Best enjoyed young and fresh.
