Quality continues - cellaring stuff
October 31, 2007 by DredgeyWe recently re-corked some of our museum Coonawarra wines from Vintage 1990 and 1991. Most of the staff was around to observe and try two stunning vintages of Coonawarra. I know I did…many times. We’d love to hear about wines you’ve been patient enough to cellar, just cracked or are unsure when to. We try all wines from all vintages constantly and can answer any query you have.

Hi Dredgey! I’ve got a single bottle of 1998 Hanlin Hill Riesling left and am not sure if it is ready to drink yet. The riesling person at my local bottle shop believes I should not let it go any longer but other literature I’ve read suggests I should leave it for a few more years. Obviously I’d like to try to catch it at it’s peak, so any help with that would be appreciated.

I drunk two bottles of a 98 Riesling during the last month. The Petaluma wine looked stunning but the Eden Valley wine was dissappointingly ruined by a bad cork. I love screwcaps.

Да уж! Конечно, забавно наблюдать то, как в считанные часы совершенно практически без повода из пальца высасывается такой вот “новостной сюжет” и начинает широко гулять по блогам.
